January 19, 2010 Structure Fire in Waymart

19, 2010: at approximately noon, Engine 24 was requested
by Wayne County to assist Waymart Fire and EMS on a working structure
fire on Tuthill Road. Crews arrived and found heavy fire from Side
"B" of the structure endangering another structure a few
feet away. Engine 24 arrived and stood fast as the RIT team. As
the fire was brought under control, Engine 24 supplied foam to Rescue
75 for overhaul. Greenfield Crews were placed back in service within
two and a half hours. |
