August 10, 2010 Pump and Ladder Training

10 , 2010: Members from Greenfield and Clifford Fire Companies
came together at Newton Lake at the dry hydrant for pump and ladder
training. Crew 24 set up the draft from the dry hydrant to supply
water to Ladder 18. Once crews had their apparatus set up, the next
task was to learn ladder company operations. The crew from 18 instructed
the 24 crew on proper ladder placement and ladder pipe operations.
It was a good learning experience for all. |
