Decon Training 2009

Greenfield Township members brushed up technical decon tent set up. Setup includes five stations prior to entering the technical "tent."
The five stations are: tool drop, gross wash, soaping and scrubbing, rinse, return or ppe drop then into the tent. Once in the tent, the "victim" will disrobe (in a privacy area), placing valuables in a sealed bag, placing a coded wrist band on arm, then move to the soaping and scrubbing process. Once soaping and scrubbing is complete, the victim moves into a "final" rinse then put on paper privacy garments and exit the tent to the awaiting EMS personnel for medical evaluation. Once medically cleared, the victim will either be released or sent to a medical facility for further evaluation.
